The outgoing governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, has said financial companies are failing to act quickly enough to curb their investment in fossil fuels. In an interview with BBC Radio 4's Today programme, he said some financial assets could end up worthless if investment firms don't adjust to a zero-carbon economy.
