The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) has amended the nuclear research and test establishment operating licence held by Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) for Chalk River Laboratories (CRL). Romania is committed to maintaining and strengthening its regulatory framework for nuclear and radiation safety, an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) team of experts has concluded. The Nuclear regulators of Poland and Canada signed a memorandum extending their existing supervisory cooperation on the sidelines of the International Atomic Energy Agency conference on Effective Nuclear and Radiation Regulatory Systems in Abu Dhabi.
