The UK government has completed its GBP50 million (EUR 56 million) sale of UKAEA Ltd to engineering company Babcock International. UKAEA Ltd operates four UK nuclear sites: Dounreay, Harwell, Winfrith and Windscale. The company provides nuclear decommissioning, waste management and site environmental remediation services in the UK and overseas. It also manages the administration of a number of nuclear industry pension schemes.
