The reactor shell of Russia’s Brest-OD-300 lead-cooled fast reactor in Seversk is nearing completion according to general contractor Titan-2. The Brest-OD-300 is under construction at the Siberian Chemical Plant (SCC part of Rosatom fuel company TVEL) as part of the pilot demonstration power complex (ODEK - Opitno Demonstratsionovo Energo-Kompleksa), which is part of the Breakthrough (Proryv) project intended to demonstrate closed fuel cycle technology.

TVEL has entered an agreement "to develop cost plans for the decommissioning" of the four units being built at Turkey's Akkuyu nuclear power plant, which are expected to have a design life of at least 60 years.

The Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrate Plant (NCCP or NZKhK – Novosibirskii Zavod KhimConsentratov), part of Rosatom’s fuel company TVEL, has signed a contract with the Egypt Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) for the supply of low-enriched nuclear fuel components for the ETRR-2 research reactor. The products include uranium components, as well as aluminium alloy products and aluminium powder. Delivery will be completed in 2024.

The first three fuel assemblies with uranium-plutonium mixed oxide fuel containing transuranic elements americium-241 and neptunium-237 have been produced by Rosatom's Mining and Chemical Combine.

Fuel for the starting loading of Rooppur NPP Unit 1 in Bangladesh has taken place at Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant, part of Rosatom’s Fuel Company TVEL. The fuel acceptance inspection test was passed. Similar nuclear fuel is operating successfully in power units with VVER-1200 reactors at Leningrad, Novovoronezh and Belarus NPPs.
