In 2015, Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom increased its revenue by 32.8% to RUB821.2bn ($12.9bn) while its foreign proceeds increased by 20.3% up to $6.26bn, according to its annual report published on 13 July.  Innovative products and services accounted for 12.4%. of total revenue. Total taxes paid to budgets at different levels increased by 61.4% (up to RUB164.5bn) compared with 2014.

Rosatom said 2015 was a record year in terms of nuclear electricity generation which totalled 195.2TWh, with an average capacity factor of 86%. The share of nuclear generation in the overall energy mix increased to 18.6%. No substantial deviations in NPP operation (in excess of Level 2 of the International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale - INES) were recorded, and  there were no fines for violations of environmental law.

Last year Rosatom’s servicing order portfolio in external markets reached $430m. Kirill Komarov, deputy director general and director for development and international business of Rosatom, said, citing the annual report, By 2030 Rosatom intends to increase the share of foreign business in its activity structure to 67% from 52% in 2015. At present, Rosatom is present in more than 40 countries, while its 10-year foreign order portfolio exceeds $110bn. All foreign projects of are strictly on schedule, Komarov stressed.
